No, not what you were thinking. The Poezenboot, a barge housing kitty cats. They were closed, officially, but let us in on a Sunday. This was after happening into church. We went on to create our own progressive Dutch tapas, visit the Anne Frank House, see the outside of the home of Descartes (at least we think so -- the Italian tourists' guide showed it as "Cartesian"), pondered a monument to all who have been persecuted for being gay or lesbian, cobbled together dinner, heard enthusiastic futbol fans sing the German and Argentine national anthems near Rembrantsplein, and settled in for the night to watch the World Cup final.
